The COR Museum, Raleigh, in collaboration with Peter Marin Works, is seeking submissions from photo and video journalists.

The City of Raleigh Museum (COR), located in downtown Raleigh, is seeking video and photojournalists for a documentary exhibition exploring the cultural and economic legacy immigrants have on our food culture. The project explores the food lineage and follows the trail from the table to the farm. The aim of the project is to bring into focus the relationship that exists between immigrants and the most beloved leisure activity, dining.
The COR Museum seeks entries from photo and video journalists to engender an investigative process and illuminate the economic and cultural implications of immigrants and our food with particular emphasis on highlighting the humanity of immigrants.
Selected artist will be given particular journalistic assignments with a culmination of a interactive and multimedia exhibition at the museum in June of 2017.

4 Technical sheet, labeled: 1_LastName_Title_Immigrants
A stipend will be made available.
Artist will work with curator to further define project goals.
Application is open to any photo/video journalists who live or work in Wake Co.
Project requires selected artists to have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver’s license. Artist must be willing to travel to nearby farms for interviews and documentation. Artists must provide their own equipment and materials and perform their own photo printing and video editing for final project.
Applicants at any stage of their practice may submit.
Immigrants and Spanish speakers encouraged to apply.
